Group Captain Rakesh “Rocky” Jai Singh is assigned to counter the threat and has formed a team called the “Air Dragons” made up of expert fighter pilots. The team includes squad leaders Shamsher Pathania “Patty”, Sartaj Gill “Taj”, Bashir Khan “Bash”, Minal Rathod “Minny” and Sukhdeep Singh “Sukhi”. During training, the team members bond and Minnie develops romantic feelings for Patty. However, Patty is haunted by her past after losing her fiancé on a previous mission. The team learns about an attack organized by Akhtar on CRPF jawans in Pulwama.
In response, the Indian Air Force, along with RAW agent Zarina Begum, planned a retaliatory strike on Akhtar’s base in Balakot. Despite being successful in the mission, the results lead to conflict between India and Pakistan. As a result, the Pakistan Air Force retaliated against the Indian base. Despite Rocky’s orders, Patty, Taj and Bash cross the India-Pakistan border. Taj and Bash’s plane was shot down by Pakistani pilots, leading to their capture. Patty is suspended from the Air Dragons for disobeying orders and is placed as a flying instructor at the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad. Rocky reveals to Minnie that he holds a grudge against Patty for letting his fiancée, Naina Jai Singh, who is Rocky’s younger sister, die during a previous rescue mission.
The Pakistani government announced that they would bring Taj and Bash back to India safely. However, while the team waits for their arrival, Sukhi reveals to Patty that Bash was brutally murdered by Akhtar and that he has imprisoned the seriously injured Taj. Determined to save him, Patty disobeys orders and joins a secret mission. The team successfully infiltrates enemy territory and Patty is able to rescue Taj and kill Akhtar. At the end, Minnie and Patty embrace each other and celebrate their victory.
