chris stapleton national anthem lyrics
O say can you see, by the dawn’s early light
What so proudly we hail’d at the twilight’s last gleaming
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight
O’er the ramparts we watch’d were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave

“Chris Stapleton, the artist who gave us a soulful rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” made quite an impression at the Super Bowl. He rocked an all-black outfit and had a cool pair of sunglasses on.
It turns out he’s the third country singer in a row to have the honor of performing our national anthem at this iconic event. Mickey Guyton had this special role in 2022, and the year before, it was Eric Church and Jazmine Sullivan’s turn to shine on the Super Bowl stage.
Just a few weeks back, Stapleton, often likened to a modern-day Willie Nelson for his love of musical collaborations, teamed up with Carly Pearce to release a fresh track titled “We Don’t Fight Anymore”. In the past two years, he’s had some amazing moments, like performing “Higher Ground” at the 2023 Grammy Awards alongside the likes of Adele, Pink, Joy Oladokun, and the legendary Stevie Wonder.
Looking ahead, Stapleton’s All-American Roadshow tour is set to continue in July, and fans are in for a treat. He’s also scheduled for some stadium shows in Nashville, where he’ll be sharing the stage with the iconic George Strait on July 28–29.”
